About my brand

I make handmade soap and other bath and body products. The key ingredient I use and the namesake of my brand is Safflower Oil. Safflower Oil has many skin loving properties. It is rich in Vitamin E that helps protect against free radicals which is thought to help slow down the appearance of aging. Antioxidants that help reduce inflammation, and help treat rough and irritated skin. It is also rich in Omega-6 and Omega-3 Fatty acids that also aid in its treatment of inflammation. It is moisturizing without being heavy, quickly absorbing into skin without clogging pores.

Meaning it will leave your skin soft, smooth, and radiant.

Ingredients that make an impact

If you're like the old me, you likely bought products based on price alone. I would by the cheapest products without thought as to what was going in them or how they impacted the environment. After realizing these bargains actually did come at a higher price, as they were doing more harm than good, for my skin and for the environment I decided to make more informed decisions about the products I buy. And if you're like the present me who would like to use products that are good for you without being bad for the environment. I hope you'll like what I've made. And although I still have room to grow, I am proud of my little part in trying to leave the world a better place.

  • Palm Oil

    In an effort to combat the environmental effects of harvesting palm oil, I only use sustainably sourced palm oil. From suppliers that are apart of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.

  • Candelilla Wax

    Previously I used beeswax for my balms and butters. In an effort to be more vegan friendly, I have since switched to Candelilla Wax. It is a plant based wax with a slightly softer consistency, that I think you will love. Labels will show if they are the last of my batches with beeswax or the new candelilla wax variety.

  • Sensitive to Sensitivities

    I have family and friends who are sensitive to scents and some ingredients, so I wanted to give them skin loving products that they could enjoy too. I offer some unscented products for those with scent sensitivities. And have a few coconut free options as well coming soon.
